The first time I watched an anime, I think it’s either Dragon Ball Z o Sailor Moon. Yes, these two! Back then, both of these were a real hit and, as much as possible, I never miss out on any single episodes; although my memories of them are all a bit fuzzy now. I actually like Sailor Venus more than the Sailor Moon herself, given that the leading lady is kind of dumb and goofy. Come to think of it, Minako (aka Sailor Venus) looks even more classy and prettier than the lead. I would rather have her paired with Mamoru (Tuxedo Mask) –the leading man.
Anyway as I was saying, these two are quite influential to me. These actually initiated my fascination in watching anime’s. It even helped me further develop my interest in drawing. I used to copy their faces when drawing persons. And with further practice, I develop (and still developing) my skills in drawing my own character’s faces. But since more anime’s have come out, I get to learn more techniques and of course get to enjoy watching more! I think next to Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon that I have watched would be Yu Yu Hakusho, Samurai X and more. If I’ll name them all, this entry would be endless. So that’s it for now!
How about you, what’s your first experience in Anime/Manga?
